Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for an IT Support Technician – Network Admin in Honolulu, Hawaii. This hybrid, 12+ month contract role focuses on Level 1 support for network, telephony, and related IT infrastructure.

The position requires basic networking knowledge, familiarity with routers, switches, VoIP, and strong communication skills. Traveler benefits offered as per agency package; benefits vary by vendor and assignment.

Qualifications

Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Experience in IT support/help desk environments.
Familiar with VoIP and enterprise telephony basics.
Ability to document issues and follow procedures.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 technical support for network connectivity, hardware, software, and telephony issues.
Troubleshoot basic LAN, WAN, and wireless network problems.
Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance of routers, switches, IP phones, and related equipment.
Support telephony systems and basic VoIP troubleshooting.
Document troubleshooting steps and escalate complex issues as needed.
Assist with network maintenance, patches, and security configurations.
Maintain equipment inventories and IT asset tracking.
Collaborate with network admins and IT staff to maintain service reliability.
