Job summary

Webster University is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver end-user support to faculty, staff, students, and affiliates across Webster Groves campus. The role supports the ITSM, classroom technology, and asset management while collaborating with multiple IT teams and campus departments.

The position emphasizes service orientation, documentation, and technical troubleshooting across Windows, MacOS, and mobile devices, with opportunities to assist in events and IT projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience providing technical support in an end-user computing environment.
• Experience supporting Windows, MacOS, mobile devices, and common business applications.
• Experience using an IT service management system.
• Experience with classroom technology and AV is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and service requests per SLAs.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot university hardware and software.
• Provide support via in-person, remote, phone, email channels.
• Document incidents and assets in the ITSM system.
• Support classroom technology and multimedia systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams and campus partners on deployments.
