Job summary

You will provide IT support to Department of Commerce desktop users and maintain IT systems across the workplace, research vessels, and research aircraft. The position offers a salary range of $58,000 to $129,000 and requires a proactive team player who can work independently and within a team, while maintaining confidentiality and after-hours

Qualifications

• Mid-level experience with both Windows workstation and server operating systems.
• Experience configuring and administering Active Directory.
• Familiarity with Windows imaging and deployment services.
• Experience installing and maintaining Windows workstations and servers.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software and use remote tools.
• Ability to manage ticket queues and provide Tier I/II support.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT desktop support to the Department of Commerce.
• Perform system updates and patch management.
• Manage Windows servers and AD accounts.
• Develop SOPs and Knowledge Articles.
• Perform ticket and queue management and provide remote support.
