Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an entry-level IT Support professional in Los Angeles to assist users both in-person and remotely. You will troubleshoot hardware/software issues, deploy and maintain Windows and macOS devices, and support collaboration tools like Zoom and Microsoft 365.

You’ll also help manage Active Directory, Endpoint Central, and MDM under supervision. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and documentation of IT processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0-2 years of experience in IT support, workplace services, or a related field; internships or coursework may be considered.
• CompTIA A+, Security+, or Network+ preferred but not required
• Microsoft Fundamentals certifications (e.g., MS-900, MD-100)
• Basic troubleshooting skills for Windows and macOS environments
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and collaboration tools like Zoom
• Understanding of networking basics and endpoint security best practices
• Exposure to IT service management platforms such as Jira Service Management is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical issues in a simple and clear manner
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Must be able to perform the essential job duties
• Ability to sit for extended periods, hear the telephone, enter data on a computer, and potentially lift up to 10 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assist employees with in-person and remote technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Help deploy, configure, and maintain workplace technology, including Windows and macOS devices, printers, and peripherals
• Support collaboration and communication tools, including Zoom, Microsoft 365, and Jira Service Management
• Assist in managing Active Directory, Endpoint Central, and MDM solutions under supervision
• Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and end-user support guides
• Maintain IT asset inventory and track device lifecycle
