Job summary

CarGurus is hiring an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our IT Team. The role combines hands-on technical support with process improvement, working with business and IT teams in the U.S. and overseas.

This is a hybrid role based in Boston, MA at 1001 Boylston Street. The position demands 1–2 years of support experience, a MIS-related associate degree, and familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, and ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of IT support experience.
• Associates’ Degree in MIS or equivalent.
• Industry certifications (CompTIA) or similar are a plus.
• Experience supporting Macs (OSX) and PCs (Windows/Linux) in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Slack and Okta.
• Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITIL) best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees in person and remotely.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues affecting business systems.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding: accounts, laptops, onboarding training.
• Support on-site meetings and events; maintain internal documentation.
• Escalate issues and ensure follow-up for resolution.
• Maintain high internal customer satisfaction and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with senior team members and vendors on new technology.
