Kairos Power in the United States is seeking an IT Security Analyst II to strengthen security across multi-site, hybrid IT infrastructure, on‑premises systems, and SaaS platforms. You will independently perform security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, policy administration, and compliance activities within established cybersecurity programs.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on cybersecurity operations experience in mid‑to‑large environments, with preference for NIST

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, cybersecurity, or equivalent.
• 4+ years in IT security or security operations.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, and ticketing systems.
• Experience with identity, access, and endpoint security technologies (M365, Entra ID, SSO, MFA, zero-trust).
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001; professional certs preferred.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and analyze activity across networks, systems, cloud, and SaaS for security incidents.
• Configure and onboard systems into the enterprise SIEM with log collection and detection.
• Investigate alerts from SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and IAM; escalate high-risk events.
• Investigate security incidents; coordinate containment and remediation with teams.
• Perform vulnerability management including scanning, prioritization, and tracking.
• Work with IT to identify and remediate security risks across envs.
• Enforce internal security policies, data handling, access controls, and incident response.
• Support audits, evidence collection, and control assessments for regulatory frameworks.
• Administer security controls: firewalls, endpoint protection, encryption, MFA, remote access.
• Review access and privileges to enforce least-privilege and zero-trust.
• Support security awareness and documentation of incidents and remediation.
• Coordinate security activities with vendors and MSPs; track progress.
