Job summary

Nebraska Department of Transportation's Information Technology Project Portfolio Management Office is seeking an IT Project Manager/Scrum Master to oversee IT projects from initiation to closure.

The role requires planning, directing and coordinating project management activities, strong leadership, stakeholder management, and deep knowledge of PM tools and Agile SDLC. Onsite and remote work are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or technical degree in CS/PM or equivalent with 5+ years PM experience.
• At least 2+ years managing projects using Agile SDLC.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Experience with Azure DevOps to create backlogs and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate project management activities to meet goals.
• Lead project teams and ensure on-time, on-budget, and in-scope delivery.
• Prepare reports for portfolio and upper management.
• Develop requirements and business cases; define scope and deliverables.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings and manage risks, changes, and communications.
• Onsite and remote work as required.
