Job summary

StarTekk Inc is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure technology projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

The role requires 7+ years of IT project management experience, expertise in servers, storage, networks, databases or middleware, and strong knowledge of Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies. PMP or PMI-ACP certification is preferred.

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – Local candidates only).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT project management experience.
• Experience leading infrastructure projects (servers, storage, networks, databases, middleware).
• PMP or PMI-ACP certification.
• Experience with portfolio and delivery tools (Clarity, ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex infrastructure projects from scope to delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans and monitor progress.
• Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and contingency plans.
• Provide regular status updates on health, risks, and budgets.
• Governance, roles, milestones, and deliverables setup.
• Coordinate resources across cross-functional teams in a matrix org.
• Facilitate sessions, resolve blockers, elevate critical decisions.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects.
