Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is assisting a leading financial services organization in Chicago, seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to guide infrastructure and security initiatives. The role requires directing complex programs, cross-functional teams, risk management, and governance to ensure on-time delivery in a hybrid environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing enterprise-scale technology projects, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to align IT efforts

Qualifications

• PMP certification is required.
• 7+ years of Technical Project Management or Program Management experience in large enterprise environments.
• Experience leading complex application and infrastructure-related technology projects.
• Strong background in network security, infrastructure, or technology transformation initiatives.
• Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or highly regulated industries.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for planning, tracking, and delivery management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex infrastructure and network security projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, forecasts, timelines, and status reporting.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations with a 'no surprises' culture.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure delivery.
• Establish project governance, communication plans, and resource management strategies.
• Ensure adherence to PM best practices, regulatory requirements, and standards.
• Facilitate project meetings, executive updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Drive execution, team accountability, and transition into production support.
