Diamond Technology, Inc. is seeking an IT Project Manager for a client in a large local public organization. The role is hybrid, with on-site Mondays and Tuesdays, and flexible work options within the U.S.

• Bachelor’s in CS/IT or related field with 2+ years of IT projects mgmt; or 6+ years of similar experience.
• Led PM on at least 2 integrated IT systems/infrastructure projects within last 5 years; include scope, schedule, budget, risk.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; available to start within 30 days; available Mon–Fri 8–5 Pacific; remote work within U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-year IT modernization projects from planning through implementation and transition.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and success metrics.
• Develop and maintain project charters, work plans, risk registers, and executive reporting.
• Ensure on-schedule, within-budget delivery aligned with priorities.
• Serve as primary liaison between IT leadership, business units, vendors, and external partners.
• Build consensus among diverse stakeholders and manage cross-functional teams.
• Communicate status, risks, and business impact to executives and governance bodies.
• Oversee system integration, testing, UAT, deployment, and production readiness.
• Ensure compliance with security, architecture, and governance standards.
• Identify risks, dependencies, issues; develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead change management, including training and user adoption.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party engagements.
• Develop performance metrics and dashboards for leadership.
