Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead mission‑critical enterprise application projects and cross‑functional teams.

The role covers initiation through closure with a focus on quality, scope, schedule, and budget, while aligning with IT strategy and business objectives. The position offers a hybrid work model, coordinating with IT and business leaders, and requires strong PM skills, stakeholder management, and a track record of delivering complex software projects

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in a related field.
10+ years of experience managing medium‑to‑large software projects, preferably in utilities.
PMI/CSM/PSM or related certification preferred.
Experience with ERP/CRM systems and related domains.
Experience with Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project Online, or Asana.
Power BI/Tableau or similar analytics tools; Visio/Lucidchart knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end project management for medium‑to‑large software projects (ERP implementations, system integrations, data migrations, custom development).
Manage scope, schedule, resources, budgets, risks and stakeholder expectations.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams across IT, business areas, vendors, and offshore resources.
Apply PM best practices (PMBOK, Agile, Scrum) and develop go‑live cutover plans.
Prepare charters, plans, status reports, change requests, and lessons learned.
