State of Maryland is seeking an IT Programmer Analyst Lead to provide strategic technical leadership and supervisory guidance for the enterprise web development team, with a focus on BEACON modernization and secure, high‑performing digital services. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field.
Three years of experience designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining applications systems and programs.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic technical leadership and supervisory direction to enterprise web development team.
Approve technical architecture and design decisions for front-end and back-end integration and SDLC best practices.
Oversee automated testing suites and release governance to ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and security compliance.
Collaborate with project managers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to define scopes and timelines; lead sprint planning and provide technical estimates.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including API references and deployment guides.
