Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking Infrastructure Operations Interns who will learn from senior engineers and participate in IT operations and compute projects. The role emphasizes hands-on work with Linux/Windows servers, cloud tools, and automation using Ansible and Terraform.

You’ll gain exposure to Azure/AWS concepts, database administration basics, and cross‑functional collaboration in a supportive, mentor‑led environment. Hybrid work option is available for part of the week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field with a GPA 3.0+.
• Strong basic computer skills and knowledge of desktop PC systems and mobile devices.
• Excellent communication and organization skills; professional demeanor.
• Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
• Analytical and problem solving abilities; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT operations with on‑premises and cloud server tasks.
• Contribute to Terraform and Ansible initiatives and documentation.
• Support discovery and implementation of new Cloud tools and operations.
• Develop written materials for new processes and technical designs.
• Assist in data compilation and presentation for upper management.
