Job summary

Forgen is seeking an IT Manager in Centennial, Colorado to oversee IT Service and Infrastructure value chains. You will supervise 1–4 staff, manage incidents, projects and budgets, and drive long‑term problem solving for company IT systems.

Responsibilities include vendor management, leadership, and admin tasks while adopting best-practice IT processes and policies. The role emphasizes safety, ethics, and cross‑functional collaboration within a growing geotechnical and civil construction company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5+ years IT experience as a Systems Administrator or similar.
• ITIL Foundations v4 certification.
• Construction industry experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Entra, Intune, On-Prem Active Directory, Backup Solutions, SharePoint, Dropbox, Windows and macOS, VMWare, Cisco Meraki, SmartDeploy, Dell, and Apple hardware systems.
• Extensive knowledge of software and operating standards.
• Strong IT governance and policy development familiarity.
• Motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to quality.
• Commitment to ethics and safety; team player and independent worker.

Responsibilities

• Vendor Management: negotiate and manage vendor relationships.
• Leadership: guide, train, mentor IT Service staff; delegate tasks; review performance; drive changes.
• Administration: respond to incidents; provide remote support; maintain disaster recovery tools; streamline data storage and IT infra.
• Best Practice: promote and implement IT governance and best-practice processes; coaching and support.
