Job summary

The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the organization’s enterprise infrastructure, systems administration, and help desk operations. You will design, implement, secure, and support server, storage, virtualization, and Kubernetes environments, while coordinating upgrades and vendor partnerships.

Responsibilities include ensuring high availability, performance, and security of critical election infrastructure, managing budgets, and mentoring staff

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of related experience, with at least two (2) years as a supervisor/lead
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
• Must successfully complete election officer certification and be eligible to vote in Arizona

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise infrastructure administration and help desk operations
• Oversee systems administration and ensure availability, performance and security
• Design, implement, and maintain server, storage, virtualization, and Kubernetes environments
• Coordinate infrastructure projects, upgrades, and equipment lifecycle management
• Manage vendors, budgets, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to staff and cross‑functional teams
• Document incidents, configurations, and knowledge articles for operations
