Job summary

Harnish Group Inc. is seeking a Helpdesk Technician to provide Tier 1-2 technical support for internal and client-facing systems in a hybrid IT environment. The role includes onboarding, troubleshooting across AD/Azure/Office 365, and regular staff training to maximize efficiency with HGI business systems.

You will work on-site in Billings, MT, with travel to regional remote branches about 10% of the time, and contribute to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of major OS, hardware, and software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a service/helpdesk/C2 level role.
• Office environment; not remote.
• Ability to diagnose advanced technical issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in customer support.
• Familiarity with AD/Azure AD/Office 365/SharePoint/Exchange/Teams/Hyper-V/Windows Server/Anti-Virus/Backup/Update and Patch management.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure computers, applications, and peripherals for new employees.
• Provide Tier 1-2 support for HGI staff and contractors.
• Document issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and knowledge base.
• Administer and troubleshoot AD/Azure AD/Office 365/SharePoint/Exchange/Teams/Hyper-V/Windows Server environments.
• Provide regular training/workshops for staff on business applications.
