Job summary

Rize Federal Credit Union is seeking an IT Field Systems Administrator to provide hands-on field support across California and Las Vegas branches. The role emphasizes endpoint management, identity and access administration, and incident response within a hybrid IT environment.

You will work with a small IT team to maintain stable, secure systems, report to the Director of Infrastructure and Security Operations, and travel to branch locations as needed in California and Nevada.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in IT support, systems administration, or field-based IT roles.
• Hands-on experience administering user accounts in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and on-premises Active Directory within a hybrid environment.
• Strong experience supporting Windows-based desktops and laptops, including troubleshooting hardware, OS, and application issues.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting end-user devices and peripheral equipment in a business environment.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve moderate-to-complex technical issues using documented standards and procedures.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to support non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and escalating issues appropriately.
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to branch locations in California and Las Vegas

Responsibilities

• Field Systems & Onsite Operations: Serve as the primary field-based IT systems resource for assigned California branches, with support for Las Vegas branches as needed.
• Identity & Access: Administer user identities in Microsoft Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory in a hybrid environment.
• Endpoint Management & Compliance: Manage device enrollment, configuration, and compliance through Microsoft Intune.
• Security Operations Support: Act as a first responder for endpoint security alerts following documented incident response procedures.
• Network & Infrastructure Support: Perform basic network troubleshooting, including endpoint connectivity, cabling, switch port identification, and device access issues.
• Service Desk & Operational Support: Handle escalated tickets from Tier 1 and contribute to shared service desk coverage.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work with IT team members to ensure consistent support coverage across locations, participate in technology refreshes, branch projects, and system upgrades.
