Job summary

Rize Federal Credit Union seeks an IT Field Systems Administrator to provide hands-on, mid-level systems and endpoint support across California and Las Vegas branch locations. The role emphasizes end-user technology stability, identity management, endpoint compliance, and incident response.

You’ll work with independence within defined standards, reporting to the Director of Infrastructure and Security Operations. Occasional travel and a hybrid work arrangement may apply.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in IT support, systems administration, or field-based IT roles.
• Hands-on experience administering user accounts in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and on-premises Active Directory within a hybrid environment.
• Strong experience supporting Windows-based desktops and laptops, including troubleshooting hardware, OS, and application issues.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting end-user devices and peripheral equipment in a business environment.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve moderate–to–complex technical issues using documented standards and procedures.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to support non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and elevate issues appropriately.
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to branch locations in California and Las Vegas

Responsibilities

• Field Systems & Onsite Operations: Serve as the primary field-based IT systems resource for assigned California branches, with support for Las Vegas branches as needed.
• Identity & Access: Administer user identities in Microsoft Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory in a hybrid environment. Carry out access provisioning, role assignments, and account lifecycle changes based on approved requests and security controls, and troubleshoot access, authentication, and synchronization issues.
• Endpoint Management & Compliance: Manage device enrollment, configuration, and compliance through Microsoft Intune. Monitor compliance posture, remediate issues, and support encryption, patching, and configuration enforcement.
• Security Operations Support: Act as a first responder for endpoint security alerts following documented incident response procedures. Collect logs, system data, and evidence for investigations and audits, and partner with senior IT and Security on remediation.
• Network & Infrastructure Support: Perform basic network troubleshooting, including endpoint connectivity, cabling, switch port identification, and device access issues. Assist with network and infrastructure changes designed by senior engineers, and coordinate with vendors during outages and maintenance.
• Service Desk & Operational Support: Handle escalated tickets from Tier 1 and contribute to shared service desk coverage. Document resolutions, contribute to standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles, and recommend improvements to tools, processes, or training.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work with IT team members to ensure consistent support coverage across locations, participate in technology refreshes, branch projects, and system upgrades, and share feedback from the field to inform IT planning.
