Job summary

Rize Federal Credit Union is seeking an IT Field Systems Administrator to provide hands-on, mid-level systems and endpoint support across California and Las Vegas branches. The role emphasizes stable, secure, and compliant end-user environments, with hybrid work options and travel to branches.

You will manage identities, endpoint management, and incident response, collaborating with senior IT staff on infrastructure and security operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressively responsible IT support or field IT roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and on‑prem Active Directory in a hybrid setup.
• Strong Windows desktop/laptop troubleshooting, hardware, OS, and app issues.
• Experience deploying and supporting end‑user devices and peripherals in a business environment.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve moderate–complex technical issues using documented standards and procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with non‑technical users.
• Ability to travel regularly to California and Las Vegas branch locations.
• High school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field IT systems resource for California branches, with Las Vegas support as needed.
• Administer identities in Microsoft Entra ID and on‑prem AD; manage access provisioning and lifecycle changes.
• Manage device enrollment and policy enforcement via Microsoft Intune; monitor compliance and assist with encryption and patching.
• Act as first responder for endpoint security alerts; collect logs and collaborate on remediation.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and assist with changes designed by senior engineers.
• Handle escalated Tier 1 tickets and contribute to knowledge base and SOPs.
• Collaborate with IT team to ensure coverage across locations and participate in system upgrades and tech refreshes.
