Job summary

City of Atlanta seeks an information systems analyst to support digital delivery, governance, and enterprise IT services. You will develop and implement IT solutions, manage backlogs, and coordinate with vendors to ensure alignment with internal processes.

The role involves DNS/SSL/IIS tasks, process improvement, and creating documentation while training users. A hybrid work schedule applies with in-person work at city facilities several days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related area; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Five years of professional experience in information systems analysis with some project leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Technical experience with DNS, SSL certificate management, and IIS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing programs or systems; devise logic, test and debug.
• Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
• Prepare system and programming documentation for approval.
• Recommends changes in development and standards; may train users.
• Create monthly and ad hoc reports; ensure reporting data accuracy.
• Lead teams on large projects and provide guidance to staff.
• Manage security/access control and reset passwords; train users.
