Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff is seeking an IT Business Analyst in its Cleveland office. The role is hybrid with work-from-home flexibility, bridging business needs with technology to improve efficiency and collaborate across departments.

You will analyze processes, document requirements, and partner with PMO to translate needs into actionable IT solutions, while supporting change management and user training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or 5+ years of IT/business experience.
• Experience with SDLC and requirements analysis.
• Change management certification (ProSci CMP or similar) is a plus.
• Familiarity with full-service law firm technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, data flows, and system landscapes to identify inefficiencies.
• Document current and future-state processes, develop functional/technical requirements, and create workflows with PMO.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, gaps, and consensus among stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into detailed project plans in collaboration with PMO.
• Drive process improvements to reduce system complexity and improve user experience.
• Maintain partnerships with attorneys, staff, and teams to align IT with business needs.
• Contribute to discussions on IT value through innovation and capabilities.
• Bridge IT and business units to align technology initiatives with goals.
• Support change management and adoption of new systems.
• Assist in creating user training materials and sessions.
• Develop understanding of key applications (practice management, document mgmt, timekeeping, collaboration).
• Maintain SOPs and user documentation for applications.
