Job summary

Nelnet, Inc. is seeking a Business/Systems Analyst to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. You will perform requirements analysis, ensure solutions meet business requirements, and drive testing and QA activities across projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience, 3–5 years in the field, and familiarity with SQL, HTML, and QA tooling. Hybrid work environment with a strong focus on collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with Agile software development and testing practices.
• Knowledge of NIST compliance is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
• Performs requirements analysis.
• Ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Documents requirements, evaluates scenarios, and implements changes.
• Conducts meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Drives testing and QA activities including test plans and results.
• Acts as liaison among clients, operations, and technical staff.
• Develops and maintains test plans and scripts.
• Facilitates User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provides feedback on usability and supports releases.
