Job summary

ECHO Incorporated is hiring an IT Quality Analyst to join a hybrid team in Lake Zurich, IL. The analyst will serve as a QA liaison among IT, BI, project teams, vendors, and business users, designing and executing tests to ensure software meets requirements before UAT.

The role requires 5+ years in QA/BA or related IT fields, with strong analytical and communication skills and a Bachelor’s degree. Hybrid work from home and on-site at Lake Zurich facility is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, application support, software testing, project coordination, or related IT role.
• Ability to review and interpret business and functional requirements.
• Hands-on background developing and executing functional test cases and scenarios.
• Familiarity with coordinating or participating in UAT.

Responsibilities

• Review business and functional requirements, process flows, use cases, acceptance criteria, and design documentation to ensure requirements are clear, complete, and testable.
• Partner with Business Analysts, Project Managers, developers, application teams, and business stakeholders to understand project scope, system changes, and expected outcomes.
• Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases based on approved requirements and designs.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, compatibility, and error-handling testing for new and modified software.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects and data/configuration issues; retest corrections.
