Wilton Re in Norwalk, CT seeks an IT Business Analyst Intern for a 2027 summer internship. The role focuses on gathering requirements, writing user stories, and supporting analytics projects using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

This 10-12 week program offers mentorship, exposure to senior leaders, and hands-on project work. Ideal candidates are rising juniors or seniors pursuing business, analytics, data science, or information systems, with basic SQL and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Introductory SQL knowledge and comfort using Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
• Pursuing a bachelor-level degree in Business, Analytics, or Information Systems.
• Ability to work full-time during early June to mid-August.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data mappings.
• Support business process improvements and analysis using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and AI agents.
• Assist with build out and management of Microsoft Fabric tools, including testing.
• Help prepare and execute test cases, including regression and user acceptance testing; document defects and support retesting.
