The primary responsibility of the IT Business Analyst is to provide users with support for the technology and systems that support Steiners business This role works closely with users to understand business needs identify requirements troubleshoot issues determine solutions and ensure systems and applications are effectively supporting business operations Provide support to users by gathering and interpreting information identifying requirements determining solutions and communicating solutions back to usersTest system modifications and enhancements to ensure they meet customer and user requirements following installationDevelop and maintain system procedure documentation for newly installed modifications and operating proceduresConduct application and system training for usersTroubleshoot and resolve system issues by identifying causes determining solutions and communicating resolutions to usersPerform report validation to help ensure system and data accuracyCommunicate technical information and solutions in both technical and user friendly languageAnalyze large quantities of data while understanding product data requirements and the impact of inaccurate data entryCommunicate and track project status using project management software
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent relevant experience Minimum of two years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role Experience supporting IT systems within a manufacturing andor distribution environment Technical knowledge and experience with Epicor Eclipse software preferred Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Excellent customer service skills Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team especially within cross functional teams Detail oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment We are an equal opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment We employ people without regard to race color religion gender gender identity sexual orientation national origin protected veteran status or disability
