Job summary

Steiner Electric in Itasca, IL is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support the systems that power our distribution operations. This hybrid role partners with users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that keep our manufacturing and logistics teams moving.

You will develop documentation, train users, validate reports, and communicate technical information in clear language while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience supporting IT systems within manufacturing or distribution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Epicor Eclipse software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide users with support for the technology and systems.
• Gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, determine solutions and communicate them to users.
• Test system modifications and maintain documentation.
• Conduct application and system training for users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and communicate resolutions.
• Perform report validation to ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate and track project status using project management software.
