Job summary

Guardian Life Insurance Company of America is seeking an IT Asset Manager to lead and mature the enterprise IT asset lifecycle across hardware and software. You will partner with Procurement, Finance, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and application teams to improve asset visibility, strengthen controls, and enable data-driven decisions.

You will define, implement, and govern ITAM strategy and standards, drive license compliance, and develop metrics and dashboards to report on inventory accuracy,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT Asset Management, including hardware and software lifecycle management.
• Experience establishing ITAM governance, policies, controls, and audit support in a complex enterprise.
• Experience with software licensing and compliance activities, including entitlement tracking, normalization, and renewals.
• Experience with enterprise SAM tools such as ServiceNow SAM Pro or Flexera.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature hardware and software asset lifecycle processes.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, End User Technology, and application teams to improve asset visibility and controls.
• Define, implement, and improve the ITAM strategy, operating model, standards, and governance for hardware and software assets.
• Monitor asset data quality, lifecycle compliance, and license position using dashboards and KPIs.
• Develop ITAM metrics, dashboards, and executive-level insights; support audits and compliance activities.
