Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of patent prosecution experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in CPI Patent, MS-Office, WorkSite, Adobe Acrobat, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and files documents with the USPTO including New Patent Applications and IDs.
• Prepares client reporting letters and correspondence regarding Official Actions and Notices of Allowance.
• Prepares and files documents for international and foreign patent applications with WIPO and offices abroad.
• Analyzes PTO-issued documents for accuracy such as filing receipts and certificates of correction.
• Produces patent prosecution documents, transcripts, and related materials.
