Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE/CS/Physics with excellent academics.
• 2+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience.
• Experience in data science, ML, AI, wireless, sensors, semiconductors, IoT, optics or related fields is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work with inventors and attorneys to prepare and prosecute patent applications in emerging technology areas.
• Identify inventions through technical discussions with inventors.
• Perform novelty and clearance searches.
• Draft comprehensive patent applications and negotiate the scope of patent rights with the USPTO.
• Prepare reports and support documentation for patent portfolio management.
