Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking an Investor Relations Coordinator to join the Investor Relations team. Reporting to the Vice President of Investor Relations, you will support day-to-day execution of the program, including investor meetings, conferences, and non-deal roadshows, as well as scheduling, travel and related activities.

The role expands to broader responsibilities such as meeting prep, quarterly earnings activities, and special projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in executive support, project management, event planning, or related hybrid roles.
• Minimum 2 years providing administrative support for executive-level management.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling for the Vice President of Investor Relations.
• Arrange travel and prepare detailed itineraries.
• Manage expense reporting and related activities.
• Support preparation for investor meetings and senior management engagements, including briefing materials and schedules.
• Coordinate investor meetings, conferences, non-deal roadshows and other engagements.
• Partner with Finance, Communications, Legal and other cross-functional teams on Investor Relations activities.
