Job summary

CHOP's Investment Office seeks an Investment Operations Associate to support endowment portfolio management and operations. The role requires data analysis, independent judgment, and cross-team collaboration to drive process improvements and accurate reporting.

You will work with trading, compliance, and counterparty relationships within a lean team, contributing to documentation, reporting, and ongoing enhancements. A fit is a proactive finance professional aligned with CHOP's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Five or more years in investment/endowment/finance.
• Experience with trading, compliance and counterparty relationships.
• Lean, high-performing team experience preferred.
• Exposure to traditional and/or alternative investments preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and write-communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and settle investments, including capital calls and rebalancing.
• Reconcile investment activity between accounting books of record.
• Monitor investment terms, key dates, and fees.
• Monthly portfolio performance reporting; benchmarking and attribution.
• Coordinate with custodian, consultants, and finance for timely reporting.
• Onboard investments in research management system; manage docs and data tagging.
• Support annual audit; assist internal audits and policy adherence.
• Assist with due diligence and knowledge management processes.
• Maintain relationships with custodians, brokers, vendors; support ad-hoc projects.
