Job summary

CVS Health Corporation offers a 10.5-week Internal Audit internship in a hybrid structure, starting May 24, 2027 and ending August 4, 2027. The program includes in-office days (Tue–Thu) and remote work on two days per week, with locations in Northbrook, IL among others. Housing assistance may be provided.

The internship pays $26/hour for 40 hours/week. Visa sponsorship is not available; CPT/OPT/F-1 programs are not included. A potential path to full-time opportunities exists after graduation.

Qualifications

• Meet educational requirements (see education section)
• Ability to work full time for the duration of the internship program

Responsibilities

• Perform and document audit activities in accordance with professional standards and the organization’s audit methodology
• Execute testing and create work paper documentation
• Meeting with colleagues throughout the enterprise to understand and document business processes under audit
• Perform detail testing as defined by the test program to define, analyze, and validate information
• Audit Team Support
• Demonstrate a commitment to integrity and the company code of conduct
• Contribute to overall Internal Audit Department team norms to promote a positive environment and improve team effectiveness

Education

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration & Management, Risk Management, Health Service)
