Job summary

City of Portland is seeking an experienced Facilities Interior Project Manager II to lead small- to medium-sized design and construction projects in city facilities, focusing on tenant improvements and move coordination. You will ensure scope, budget, and schedule alignment while maintaining design standards and documentation.

The role requires strong interior design knowledge, PM skills, and experience managing office moves, furniture packages, and CAD drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience managing design and construction budgets up to $1M.
• Experience in commercial interior design, furniture packages, and tenant moves.
• Applying PM principles to interior construction, including scope, planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and public procurement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee design, construction, renovation projects.
• Define project requirements and scopes with stakeholders; facilitate meetings.
• Manage budgets, schedules, change orders, and invoices to steward public funds.
• Coordinate procurement of design consultants, vendors, and contractors; manage contracts.
