Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Hybrid Broker Placement Executive in Michigan to shape the future of our business by coordinating with insurers and producers to place business, market key placements, and build strong relationships for ongoing success.

You will support producers in securing new business, collaborate with the claims team to advocate for clients, and drive continuous learning across the role with opportunities for growth within Gallagher's national network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Commercial/P&C broker experience in the marketplace.
• Existing, successful relationships with a number of insurers.
• Experience leading presentations internally and externally to clients and carrier partners.
• A license essential to provincial licensing jurisdictions, with continuing education hours management.

Responsibilities

• Review expiring coverage information, identify gaps and opportunities.
• Prepare and submit applications and spreadsheets to carriers; gather loss reports and exposures.
• Tailor submissions to carriers based on appetites and coverage options.
• Collaborate with underwriters to analyze client risks and update exposures.
• Ensure seamless information flow between Gallagher and carriers; keep submissions on track.
• Negotiate premiums, coverages, and terms to maximize customer value.
