Mercy Springfield is seeking an Insurance Services Representative I to collect and resolve outstanding insurance receivables, including unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims. The role requires effective communication and accuracy while handling high claim volumes in a Mercy environment.

The position is hybrid, full-time, with a requirement to come into the office half a day per week, supporting Mercy's mission and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Degree or Equivalent.
• Required Licensure: N/A

• Preferred Experience: Prior EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory experience. Prior Revenue Cycle and/or Healthcare billing or insurance experience
• Required Certification/Registration: N/A
• Required Other Skills and Knowledge: Computer and keyboarding skills
• Preferred Skills and Knowledge: Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge. Communication and customer service skills
