Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Litigation Associate to join a nationally recognized law firm. The role focuses on managing complex insurance coverage and professional liability matters, with exposure to state and federal courts, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. Mentorship and potential for partnership are highlighted.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement in Los Angeles or Irvine, with 3-4 days in office, and a competitive base salary plus a strong bonus structure.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in California in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience including insurance coverage, professional liability, or construction litigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters including insurance coverage and professional liability.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents for trial.
• Represent clients in court, mediations, and arbitrations with persuasive advocacy.
• Provide clear legal advice to clients, outlining rights, risks, and outcomes.
• Maintain regular client communication and manage expectations.
• Collaborate with team members to contribute to firm success.
