Job summary

Sentry is seeking an Account Specialist to act as the primary contact for designated producers, customers, and agents within the territory, delivering proactive service and building strong relationships.

Based in El Paso, TX, this role follows a hybrid work model and requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience plus 2+ years in related work. A Property & Casualty license is required or must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Property & Casualty license required; if not licensed, must obtain within 120 days of hire.
• Prior Commercial Lines insurance experience is desired with knowledge of underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to interpret and apply internal practices and underwriting guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for designated producers, customers, and agents within the territory.
• Partner with producers to service existing book and identify opportunities for partner placement.
• Make detailed decisions and understand business risks and consequences.
• Manage all service-related items: calls, emails, and faxes regarding service needs.
• Provide proactive service on quotes, renewals, policy changes, billing, and audits.
• Create new and renewal applications for smaller businesses.
• Act as liaison between sales, underwriting, and customers to gather underwriting requirements.
