Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking an Instructional Designer to create and deliver a comprehensive employee training curriculum, covering onboarding, professional skills, leadership, and safety training. You will develop materials for in-person, virtual, and self-directed formats using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
5 years of instructional design / development / delivery experience.
Experience with Articulate 360 Suite and Adobe or other industry audio, video editing tools.
Design learning based on adult learning principles and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

Attend meetings, gather specifications, and understand requirements for deliverables.
Collaborate with SMEs to obtain objectives and content efficiently.
Design and develop blended learning materials and classroom VILT curricula.
Create engaging online content with audio, video, and interactive elements.
Maintain curriculum materials and process documentation as needed.
Monitor trends and responsibly use AI tools to enhance design processes.
Present curriculum in classroom or virtual settings.
