Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s Parametric unit seeks an Operations Associate - Client Relations Representative to support client accounts and relationships across the firm. You will collaborate with Client Relations Representatives and Senior staff to respond to client requests and maintain accurate portfolio data.

This hybrid role requires a 4-year degree and 4+ years in financial services, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree, preferably in economics, finance, marketing, or hospitality; work experience can substitute.
• 4+ years proven experience with financial services advisors / money managers.
• Introductory experience with RIAs, Family Office, UMAs, tax-efficient products, and/or indexes is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance of existing client accounts.
• Assist with team projects and initiatives.
• Respond to client requests observing asset values, status updates, and tax efficiency.
• Coordinate responses with internal teams and resources.
• Assist with terminating client accounts and developing portfolio analyses.
• Build relationships with Distribution and other internal/external contacts.
• Learn channel guides and policies to mitigate risk and ensure coverage.
