Job summary

IMI plc in Lake Forest, CA, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support existing customer accounts in the valve manufacturing sector. You will prepare quotations, process orders, and serve as the primary contact for customers, coordinating with outside sales and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely responses.

After initial training, you will manage an assigned territory with performance expectations for accuracy, customer service, and account management, while working in a hybrid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurate typing, data entry, and recordkeeping abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and changing workloads.
• Experience learning new products and systems quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related tools.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM and IFS ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer quotations using pricing, product, and historical data.
• Process customer orders accurately and per procedures.
• Communicate via phone and email on quotations, orders, and product information.
• Coordinate with outside sales to support accounts and activities.
• Research cost history, drawings, specifications to quote parts.
• Maintain records in Salesforce CRM system.
• Manage multiple requests and deadlines with timely follow‑through.
• Develop knowledge of products, systems, and procedures.
