Job summary

Essentra Components is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to develop and execute the inside sales strategy, driving revenue and growth. The role acts as the liaison between the company and customers, building long-term relationships, growing existing business, and pursuing new opportunities.

This is a hybrid position in Schaumburg with three days in the office and two days from home. The candidate should have at least 2 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and be

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in sales or customer service.
• College degree in business, marketing or related field is a plus but not required.
• Experience in an industrial products company is preferred but not required.
• Must be motivated, persuasive and dedicated.
• Willingness to work in the office 3 days a week.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience using a CRM tool to track sales activity is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business with existing customers and/or qualify new opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Manager to manage large projects and multi-step opportunities through CRM pipeline.
• Collaborate with purchasing departments and staff to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and report results, status of accounts and leads to manager.
• Provide product information, quotes, and bid specifications to clients.
• Ensure orders and samples are entered and shipped on time.
• Maintain customer database with new and existing accounts.
