Job summary

Accounting Career Consultants seeks an Inside Sales & Product Support Engineer to blend engineering knowledge with sales support for aftermarket products. You will assist regional sales teams, prepare quotes, coordinate supplier information, and help hand off opportunities from_quote to order execution in a hybrid work model.

The role requires technical and commercial judgment, strong communication, and experience with RFQs, proposals, and CRM/ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
3-5 years of experience in technical inside sales, proposal support, engineered equipment, or related industrial environments.
Ability to understand basic mechanical equipment scopes, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Ability to interpret supplier quotations and identify basic scope, pricing, or technical discrepancies.
Experience supporting RFQs, quote development, proposal preparation, supplier coordination, or order processing.

Responsibilities

Serve as an inside sales and first-line product support resource for assigned standard aftermarket opportunities.
Support regional sales teams and customers with product, scope, pricing input, and quote-status questions.
Review customer requests and help determine the appropriate standard product scope based on equipment information and customer requirements.
Review prior customer and site history to identify repeat or related product opportunities.
Maintain accurate customer, site, and product information to support sales activities.
Capture recurring customer questions and proposal issues and communicate feedback to Product Management.
Coordinate internally to obtain required technical, commercial, and pricing information.
Support quote revisions, customer clarifications, and proposal updates.
