Job summary

Allstate Insurance Co. is seeking an Inside Property Adjuster to virtually inspect damages, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly.

The role emphasizes water losses, with communication via phone, email, and video chat to guide customers through a fast, fair process. The position starts with in-office training, followed by a hybrid schedule (in office and remote) with a mix of Monday–Friday hours and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of previous customer service experience.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in an office and virtual work environment.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions.
• Previous industry experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service Expert: care, empower, and restore in each property claim with empathy and clear communication.
• Investigator: independently review damage and interpret policies to determine coverage.
• Effective Communicator: use phone, email, and video chat to guide customers through a fast, fair claims process and adapt communications to customer preferences.
• Negotiator: evaluate and settle claims with customers, vendors, and third parties per standard methodologies.
• Problem Solver: use tools like estimate tools and settlement platforms with strong critical thinking.
• Recorder: ensure accurate documentation in claims systems and protect the company financially.
