Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for enterprise infrastructure across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. The role covers networking, Citrix virtualization, and server administration, with strong troubleshooting and operations focus.

The ideal candidate will manage VDI, remote access, and endpoint platforms, while delivering high availability and efficient IT service delivery in a hybrid Des Moines environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of enterprise infrastructure support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support expertise across Windows, macOS, Linux, and network environments.
• Experience supporting global enterprise environments and end-user devices.

Responsibilities

• Network Administration & Support: LAN/WAN/VPN/SD-WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless.
• Citrix Administration: Virtual Apps/Desktops, Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Gateway, Director.
• Windows Server Administration: AD, DNS/DHCP, GPO, file services, patching, backups.
• Linux Administration: RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu, scripting, security, performance.
• macOS Administration: Jamf/Intune, device enrollment, patching, endpoint security.
• Endpoint & Client Support: Windows/macOS/Linux desktops, software deployment, IT incident handling.
• Incident & Operations Management: ITIL processes, SLAs, on-call support.
