Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Systems Engineer II to support and enhance its Citrix environment, including XenApp, VDI and NetScaler. The role requires collaboration with platform engineers, architects and IT teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable systems across multiple Illinois sites.

The ideal candidate will have deep Citrix experience, strong scripting skills, and a background in healthcare IT infrastructure. Hybrid work is available; local travel to corporate sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Five+ years of IT Systems/Platform Engineering experience.
• Experience with Citrix, virtualization and EMR client systems.
• Ability to analyze, design, implement and support complex platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade Endeavor Health platforms, infrastructure and devices.
• Lead complex hardware/software component analysis and sizing.
• Install patches and upgrades; assess security patches and enterprise impact.
• Handle on-call support and incident escalation with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure cross-platform interoperability.
