Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Infrastructure Architect in Hartford, CT to design and optimize secure, scalable virtual desktop environments using Citrix VAD and modern Microsoft 365 services. You will lead migrations, enhance security postures, and ensure reliable reporting across global teams.

Responsibilities include architecting end-to-end VDI, managing Microsoft 365 messaging, and implementing Kofax-driven document workflows.

Qualifications

Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale Citrix VAD-based VDI solutions with stable production deployments.
Deep hands-on proficiency in Microsoft 365 messaging migration, security, and administration, including complex tenant configurations and hybrid connectivity.
Experience with Kofax Transformation Modules for designing document transformation workflows.
Familiarity with enterprise reporting needs, including scheduled reporting and reliable access to structured data.
Strong knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, and identity services to support hybrid work models.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and perform root cause analyses.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end virtual desktop infrastructure solutions using Citrix VAD for secure, reliable, high-performance access for a hybrid workforce.
Architect integrated Microsoft 365 messaging environments for seamless email, calendaring, and collaboration.
Plan and execute complex Microsoft 365 messaging migrations with minimal downtime and data integrity.
Implement comprehensive Microsoft 365 security configurations for identity protection and threat management.
Administer Microsoft 365 environments by monitoring capacity and service health.
Design and maintain Kofax Transformation Modules workflows to improve processing accuracy and reduce manual effort.
Collaborate with security and network teams to ensure interoperable and resilient infrastructure.
Develop architecture diagrams, configuration standards, and runbooks for knowledge transfer.
Analyze capacity, performance, and incident patterns to identify optimization opportunities.
Coordinate with stakeholders to meet reporting requirements and ensure timely access to data.
Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging infrastructure technologies and Microsoft 365 capabilities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards and support trusted technology use.
Provide expert guidance to operations on incident resolution and change implementation.
