Job summary

State of Oregon, Salem, is seeking an Information Architect (Information Systems Spec.6) to lead enterprise architecture initiatives across Strategy and Design. The role supports statewide objectives by defining business capabilities, data relations, and information standards in a collaborative, hybrid-work environment.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure architectures meet security, governance, and performance goals while aligning with agency missions and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and maintaining architecture documentation (policies, standards, models).
• Experience with business capability analysis, process and value stream mapping.
• Knowledge of cloud service management and secure, scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled technologies and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level enterprise architecture aligned with statewide strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with agencies and other architects to identify integrated business and information solutions.
• Document business capabilities, data relationships, and information standards.
• Map relationships between business capabilities, processes, users, data, and applications to inform design.
