Arcadis is seeking an Industrial Water/Wastewater Process Engineer to lead projects across the United States. You will design and optimize treatment systems, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from study through startup and commissioning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 4+ years of relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license. Occasional international travel is possible as projects span multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience designing water and wastewater projects and preparing construction documents.
• Proficient in engineering calculations using Excel and Mathcad.

Responsabilités

• Function as the process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Apply processes and technologies for physical/chemical primary treatment, biological treatment, membrane treatment, adsorption, filtration, disinfection, thermal evaporation and crystallization.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams to implement complex treatment solutions, and support implementation of projects from study phase through design, construction, startup and commissioning, and operation and maintenance of treatment systems.
• The Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer should have an understanding of industrial wastewater treatment systems with experience designing water and wastewater projects and preparing construction documents, including mechanical drawings, P&IDs, specifications, control narratives, technical reports, and O&M manuals.
• Field work will be required, including but not limited to, surveys/data gathering, construction quality assurance, inspections, bench- and pilot-scale treatability testing at client sites or in our lab, etc.
• Assist with system commissioning and start-up, including training plant staff
• Prepare and make presentations to clients and for professional meetings
• Manage projects as necessary to meet both client and Arcadis’ expectations
• Supporting business development including proposal preparation and meetings with clients, and travel as needed for meetings, site visits, etc. (up to 25%)
