Latitude is seeking a Corporate Counsel for its in-house legal team to manage commercial contracting across the company. The role is hybrid in Austin, TX, full-time, with a base salary of $175,000–$185,000 and full benefits.

The attorney will advise on contract status, risks, and business terms while improving contract processes across departments. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial contracting, experience with technology, licensing, vendor and channel partner agreements, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial contracting experience, ideally in-house at a technology, SaaS, or financial services company.
• Experience with technology, licensing, vendor, and channel partner agreements.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance matters in financial services or fintech is a plus.
• Strong judgment and business sense, and the ability to give clear, practical advice to non-lawyer stakeholders.
• Able to manage a high volume of work and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts for functions across the company, including product, business development, IT, security, compliance, marketing, and finance.
• Advise management on contract status, legal risks, and business terms of transactions.
• Enforce and improve processes for support, negotiation, approval, and execution of non-customer contracts.
• Support customer contract operations as needed, including escalations and negotiations during high-volume periods.
• Strong knowledge of AI tools.
