Job summary

Michigan Medicine’s Health Information Technology & Services team seeks an Imaging Applications Analyst to manage day-to-day support for PACS and enterprise imaging systems. The role partners with radiology, clinicians, researchers, and IT staff to ensure reliable access to diagnostic images and associated workflows across the health system.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, user training, and workflow optimization while advancing integrations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-3 years IT related experience.
• Experience with radiology imaging systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration and support for Clinical Enterprise Imaging applications including PACS, radiology dictation applications, the Clinical Enterprise Imaging VNA, and the Enterprise Viewer.
• Troubleshoot and monitor performance; train users; assess workflows and implement improvements.
• Gather user needs and analyze clinical workflows for storing/viewing diagnostic images and reports.
• Develop operating standards, policies, and procedures with clinical departments; respond to user feedback and data.
• Collaborate with clinical managers to identify future needs and streamline workflows; assist with system upgrades and integrations.
• Support on-call rotations and after-hours coverage as required.
